This article answers the following questions:
- How do I know if I am eligible to access training?
- How can I register to access training if I am using a Volume License Agreement (VLA) or Academic Volume License (AVL)?
- How can I gain access to self-paced online training through my NI User Account?
Online training access is included with active software subscriptions and software service agreements. Service agreements can include Volume License Agreement (VLA), Enterprise Agreements (EAs), or Academic Volume Licenses (AVL) or service you purchase alongside a perpetual software license.
- Register the serial number before trying to access online training.
- For students with training access through a VLA, their NI User Account should use their university email address.
- Contact your administrator and request your serial number if your software access is part of an AVL or VLA.
- You may need wait up to 24 hours after registering for your training access.
- Navigate to My Account.
You will need to be logged in to your NI User Account.
- Scroll to the Support and Learning section and click NI Learning Center.
- For students with training access through a VLA, if you have followed these steps and you still cannot access the training, contact your AVL Administrator to ensure that your email is included in the list provided to NI.
- Click the View Library button.
- From the course catalog, locate your course in one of three ways:
- Browse for your desired course using the search bar.
- Use the filters on the left panel to browse courses by learning path, language, product, or type.
- If you cannot find the course that you are looking for, click Legacy Content Library at the bottom of the page.
- After you are on a course overview page, click Log in to see if you have access, which will take you to the Learner Dashboard.
- After you access the Learner Dashboard, search for the course to see if you have access, select the desired course, and it will show a Lesson List.
- Start the specific lesson by clicking Start Lesson.
